Selected tracks from the forthcoming 'Details' LP
Combining crisp, percussive house music through to flashes of immersive soundtrack territories, 'Details' reveals a body of work that goes beyond just the dancefloor, summarised by Paone and De Gregorio as follows: 'This album consists of 13 tracks that we think not only the people in the industry will enjoy, but also everyone in the music scene.'

The second Bamboleo release is with Sebastian Ledher and Matteo Gatti providing two tracks each. Ledher goes first with 'My House', an acid laced jam with warm analogue bass. It's the sort of fluid track that worms its way through the floor, with punchy drum programming and dark vocals adding energy to the groove and helping make a big impact. On a different vibe entirely is the slick minimal house of 'Brick Lane', which has tender piano chords over rubbery beats. It's one for the back rooms and the Berlin heads and oozes soul. Gatti then steps up with the brilliance of 'Bamboleo Mood,' a chunky bit of machine house funk. Crunchy hits offset a warped synth line and sci-fi motifs colour in the airwaves to fantastic effect. Last of all, the excellent 'Like Mento' is a perfectly programmed bit of electronic music with fluttering drums and hits, freaky hooks and urgent bass that carry you late into the after party. Italian duo Neverdogs mint their brand new label Bamboleo Records with a powerful four-track EP that serves as a fine statement of intent. The label will focus on house, techno and minimal with a funky edge. As well as their own material, it will release big names from the international scene and aims to inspire and generate new emotions for the dance floor. Up first is the thrilling 'Underground Activity', a dubbed out deep techno roller. It has warm chords bringing plenty of scale to the slick, kinetic drums. The superb 'Solution' is a more churning, lively tech cut with wobbling hooks and metallic drums. It's one to get the floor moving, with dark vocals finishing it in style. Keeping up the dynamic dancefloor vibes, 'Stop Talking' slips into a moody and stripped back house framework, with dry hits echoing out into a cavernous atmosphere. With real swagger and cosmic overtones in the keys, it's another excellent side to this pair's sound. Last of all, 'Destination' is a dramatic vocal DJ tool with broad synths and molten bass all warping round each other. The 'Underground Activity' EP is set for release February 15. BEATPORT.
